HDR stands for High Dynamic Range.

HDR is a range of methods to provide higher resolution and lighting from the imaging process, usually by taking a series of different exposures of the same scene.

The High Dynamic Range (HDR) process creates photos with gorgeous, impossible detail and real-world clarity and can represent, more accurately, the range of intensity levels found in real scenes, from direct sunlight to faint starlight.
